The Birth of the Redemption Diver Project

The Iconic Timepieces Halocline Diver launched on Kickstarter nearly 7 years ago.
Mid campaign COVID sweeps the globe. Uncertainty and fear causes backers to pull out.
By working with a manufacturing contact and not working directly with the manufacturer, disasters began to pile up.
Over the following years, I continued working toward a solution while issuing refunds whenever possible. Then something unexpected happened. I located the original factory that produced the Halocline and learned that a quantity of watches remained there awaiting final assembly. For the first time in years, completing the project became a reality.

The Halocline Diver is not an open production watch.

Only 120 watches were recovered at the factory.

- 60 watches have been reserved exclusively for our original Iconic Timepieces backers as part of our commitment to fulfill the promises made years ago.
- Only 60 watches are available for public purchase.
Once these 60 watches are sold, the Halocline Diver will be permanently retired. There are no plans for a second production run, no restocks, and no reissues.
This is your only opportunity to own the original Halocline Diver—a watch created through years of perseverance and brought to life as a promise finally fulfilled.

Why we returned to the original Halocline?

The response from the community was clear: you wanted the original Halocline Diver.

Because of that overwhelming support, we made the decision to offer the Halocline exactly as it was originally designed.

This created a unique opportunity.

Every component of these watches has already been manufactured. As shown in the video above, the cases, dials, bezels, bracelets, and other components are complete and ready for final assembly. Once assembled and quality-control inspected, the watches are ready to ship.

That means no lengthy production timeline and no waiting months for manufacturing. Once minimum order requirement is met, delivery will follow in approximately two weeks.

By keeping the original specifications, packaging, and clasp design, we were also able to reduce the price dramatically to just $499.99.

You may be wondering how a watch featuring a Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, AR-coated sapphire crystal, sapphire bezel insert, and a completely original design can be offered at this price.

The answer is simple.

This watch is being offered at the same spirit and pricing that was envisioned when it first launched in 2020.

Over the last seven years, manufacturing costs have increased significantly. A watch like this would cost far more to produce today. But this release was never about maximizing profit.

This watch represents something much more important.

It represents a second chance.

A chance to bring a project back to life that many believed was gone forever. A chance to honor the people who supported it from the beginning. And a chance to finally complete the journey we started in 2020.

This is more than a watch.

It's the successful conclusion of a seven-year story.
